Jon, yep that is a Woodsmith project. I made about 10 of those for Christmas last year and this one never found it's way to a recipient so for once I get to keep one of my creations instead of it going to another owner. Puts out a lot of light too! If you put a mirror behind it, I can light up almost my whole shop!

I can attest that BGE also sucks. When I initially applied for my extra 200AMP service they denied me, even though i have 400 that i'm allowed. I took Dr. Electric fighting for me to get em to cave in. They are the only reason i have a woodshop!

Ha! Great outlook. I recognize that candle holder too... Shop Notes? Woodsmith?

This reminds me of a story. I was at a hand woodworking demo one time and there was a Japanese man up at the front showing how to use those thin saws.

This American up at the front was literally on the edge of his seat the whole time, mesmerized. At the end of the demo the presenter asked for questions. The American says "This has just changed my world, I love the hand-tool approach here, it's really fantastic. I was wondering how you cut the big pieces for larger furniture, etc."

The Japanese man in broken English says "Ah! Use... TABLE saw."

If you get cold just flatten some panels ; )

Way to be positive about frustrating moments. It's way better to go neander on your own terms though!
